Caesars Entertainment Public Auction featuring Elton John's Neon Stage

A Public Auction March 1, 2014 to dispose of excessive furniture, fixtures and equipment from past special events, acquisitions, construction projects, remodels and surplus purchasing will feature a neon "star" stage that was used in "live performance" by the legendary artist Sir Elton John, in the acclaimed Red Piano show at Caesars Palace. The stage was crafted by the world renown TAIT, a premier theatrical builder. The public is welcome. There are thousands of items being offered including a company vehicle, kitchen equipment, hotel furniture, tools, facility equipment, parts, art work , electrical supplies, fixtures, and a multitude of extra accompaniments. The auction event will be held live and online at the Rio Hotel warehouse, in Las Vegas, Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2. The auction begins at 10:00 am. A preview of all the items up for auction will be on Friday, Feb. 28 at 8:00 a.m. Doors will open two hours before the auction begins for registration. There is no fee for registration or to be a bidder. There are two basic ways to participate in the auction. 1) You can come to the Rio Hotel, the North Warehouse, off of Twain and Polaris streets and bid in person the day of the auction, or 2) You can bid on line through Proxibid. There will be an additional auction in April, which will feature fine art, sports and celebrity memorabilia and a selection of vintage collectable slot and gaming machines from the personal collection of William "Bill" Harrah, legendary casino operator. Harrah was an avid collector of memorabilia such as vintage posters featuring famous entertainers from the past, antique slot machines, gaming tables, and owned an extensive collection of classic and antique automobiles.
