InDesign Friendly Alien Easter Egg. Hidden surprises within desktop publishing applications is not new. QuarkXpress had the alien wars. Adobe InDesign does too! In the infamous Quark vs InDesign battle, both DTP applications seem to have something with hidden aliens. Alien agenda? Not sure. But it is as easy as File-Print and then set-up a new Ptin Preset and name it, "Friendly Alien." Save that and then click on the preview area, lower right and take cover! Well, unlike the Quark alien, the InDesign alien seems rather friendly. Yet, it is still an alien! Need Quark to InDesign conversion? See Markzware Q2ID: http://www.markzware.com/products/q2id Need to preflight QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign and more? Use FLIGHTCHECK: http://markzware.com/products/flightcheck How to activated the InDesign Friendly Alien Easter Egg! Now watch this. You set up, in the Print dialog, a new a new preset and you save that as "Friendly Alien" and you click down here. Look at that! It's almost like the old, I think it was, Command-Option-Shift-3 in QuarkXPress, and you got the alien that shot the little... little, you know, little guy. A hidden Easter egg alien. Let's watch that again. Nothing new under the Sun. Zap him! (Markzware theme music plays)
