DOWNLOAD THE FCP PLUGIN - FREE - http://brandingtemplates.com/downloads/3d-character-model-for-fcp-motion-5/ My first test trying to build out a little character in Motion 5 using just fonts becuase M5 is limited with what you can build/apply materials to/etc. I decided to screencap it all and fast-track into a short clip with the final result available for download as a Final Cut plugin :) Starting to actually love the ease of building out stuff in 3D within Motion 5. It has just the right amount of flexibility in the GUI, just wish it would open up more like in Maya/3DSMax/LightWave... If you can apply texture maps and materials to fonts, why not just give us panels and basic shapes to work with? Probably because it opens up a Pandora's box but I'm still thinking one of these days we're going to see Motion 5 do pretty much anything the big boyz do (unless Apple can't figure out a better 3D engine, which I doubt, they haz a great brainiac team after all so they get a kudos from me for how far Motion5 has come). I have also built out a few 3D Rooms, and a few studios equipped with a three screen setup sitting on a table with keyboard and speakers. Also a Drum Maschine Mikro lookalike which turned out fantastic. Check my channel and click videos to see them all (I'll be uploading them shortly if they are not there just yet). At any rate, once you open this generator in Final Cut Pro, I pass off a lot of the controls to you as rigs and parameters to give you the ability to move, rotate, scale, and animate the scene (character, lights, walls, floor, all materials for everything :)).
