inFAMOUS: First Light
As an add-on to the PlayStation 4-exclusive inFamous: Second Son, First Light has a fair bit of meat to it. Players step once again into the super-fast, neon pink shoes of Abigail 'Fetch' Walker. It's an opportunity to step back into the character's past as she's being interrogated in the dark hole of a prison for superhumans that is Curdun Cay. Players will experience the development of Fetch's powers then use them to become a trained killer, ultimately using them to escape the maximum security prison to seek revenge against those who've wronged her. There are a couple of new powers in play to keep things interesting. One sees Fetch run through pink neon clouds across the streets and rooftops of Seattle for a speed boost. Neon homing missiles and melee finishers also add a flourish to combat. The challenge maps of Second Son also make a comeback, but in a story context. These work well with Fetch, upping the challenge by limiting her ability to just escape across the map at super speed. Players looking to extend the experience of Second Son - or get their toes wet without paying for the full game - will get what they need from First Light. NHL 2K7
NHL 2K7 is a must-buy for any fans of the sport and Hi-Def on ice. The game has breathtaking next generation graphics that the publishers 2K Sports have imaginatively entitled Cinemotion. You could be forgiven for believing that you were actually watching the game live on television with the amazing presentation. All-new crossover, gliding, turning and puck handling animations deliver a new look and feel to gameplay. Another new feature of the game is ProControl. This is where the right analog controls have been expanded to bring a far deeper level of action to the ice with improved passing and shooting mechanics. A new chemistry system has been introduced to NHL 2K7. The system mirrors today's NHL, as division rivalries heat up and home advantage really does make a difference. Both factors make the game by far the most realistic in the series. Audio Intuition is another feature which adds realism to proceedings. On-ice communication (which is, it must be said, mostly shouting) plays a key role in every game, as coaches and players call out offensive opportunities and critical defensive situations. NHL 2K7 for the Xbox 360 is a great game which has a depth of realism not yet seen in other games of this genre. If you are a fan of the sport or Ice Hockey games in general, then you should be more than happy with NHL 2K7. Click the banner to get it at ONLY: EUR3.00000

Sacred 3: First Edition
Sacred 3 might be the first entry in the series to be developed by newcomer Keen Games, but the developer looks set to show it understands the guts of the franchise with a back to basics approach. Favourite characters such as Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuhru and the Safiri return, doing battle against anarchic green-skins in this action role-playing game. The floating camera returns to give players a birds-eye view of environments swarming with enemies, giving the game a feel that puts it right in sync with previous entries. One crucial difference, however, is that the game has been developed with more focus on the gamepad. This means that the click-click combat of previous Sacred games is less prevalent and there's more of a focus on action. The game's physics are more realistic meaning that, for instance, a powerful blow will result in an enemy flying across the screen with a satisfying oomph. Sacred 3 has a very strong focus on co-op play. Even if you're not playing with friends online (and you don't need to be connected at all times to play) you'll have three AI companions on-screen with you at all times. This pays off with move-sets that combine the abilities of all four on-screen characters for devastating attacks. A drop-in/drop-out co-op mechanic really seals the deal to make Sacred 3 a full-blooded co-op game, rather than an RPG with multiplayer as an afterthought.
